OmniPublisher — Privacy Policy

OmniPublisher (the "App") is a desktop application published by Orospor Consultants and Services LLP ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored. OmniPublisher is a local-first application: it runs on your own computer and stores your data on that computer. We do not operate servers that collect, receive, or store your content.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the OmniPublisher desktop application and to the way it interacts with third-party services you choose to connect, including Google Search Console, your WordPress website, and any AI provider you configure.

2. Information the App accesses

Depending on the features you use, the App accesses:

• Google account data (only if you connect Google Search Console). With your explicit consent, the App requests read-only access to your Search Console data using the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly scope. This lets the App list the Search Console properties you have access to and retrieve search analytics (queries, pages, clicks, impressions, click-through rate, and average position). The App requests read-only access and never modifies your Google account or Search Console data.
• Credentials you enter. API keys, tokens, and endpoints you provide for services such as WordPress, AI/content providers, and image providers.
• Content you create or import. Article drafts, posts, media metadata, and related project data managed within the App.

The App does not collect analytics about you, does not track your usage, and does not contain advertising.

3. How the App uses this information

• Search Console data is used solely to display and analyze search-performance opportunities inside the App and to help you generate on-page SEO improvement tasks.
• Credentials are used only to authenticate to the services you connect, at your direction.
• Content is used to provide the App's authoring, review, optimization, and publishing features that you initiate.

4. How and where data is stored

All data handled by the App is stored locally on your device, in your operating-system application-data folder. This includes:

• Your Google OAuth refresh token, stored in a local google-auth.json file so you do not have to sign in every time.
• Search Console data retrieved on your request, cached locally (for example as CSV files and in a local database) for analysis.
• Your settings, credentials, drafts, and project data.

We (the publisher) do not have access to this data. It is not transmitted to us or to any OmniPublisher-operated server, because no such server exists.

5. How data is shared

We do not sell, rent, or share your data. Data leaves your device only when you direct the App to communicate with a third-party service you have connected — for example, sending a request to the Google Search Console API, publishing content to your own WordPress site, or sending a prompt to an AI provider you configured. Those interactions are governed by the respective third party's terms and privacy policy.

6. Google API Services — Limited Use disclosure

Specifically, data obtained from Google Search Console:

• is used only to provide and improve the search-analysis features you use within the App;
• is not transferred to others except as necessary to provide those features at your direction, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger/acquisition with appropriate notice;
• is not used for advertising;
• is not read by humans unless you give explicit consent, it is required for security or to comply with applicable law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

7. Data retention and deletion

• Because data is stored locally, you control it directly. You can delete cached Search Console data and all App data by removing the App's application-data folder.
• You can disconnect Google access at any time by deleting the local google-auth.json file, and/or by revoking OmniPublisher's access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Uninstalling the App and deleting its data folder removes all locally stored data.

8. Security

Credentials and tokens are stored in your local application-data folder and are protected by your operating system's user account and file permissions. Because OmniPublisher is a desktop application, the security of this data also depends on the security of your own device. We recommend using full-disk encryption and keeping your operating system up to date.

9. Children's privacy

OmniPublisher is a professional tool not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, within the App or on our website.
